Beach? Why yes.

I am, as none of you know, at the beach in Oaxaca currently!
Great beach at an amazing resort which I somehow won a week-long stay at 5 years ago. Here's the story if anyone cared to know.
Okay, so I was at a Christmas dance and me(being 8 at the time) was running around like a mad thing and of course after much socializing and vintage dancing I was asked to pull out the name of the raffle winner. I gladly obliged and sprinted up to the front where they told me to stick my hand in the with my eyes closed and grab a name out of the glass jar. Low and behold I pull out my father's name, and though I was suspected of cheating my the outraged oldies the owner of the resort gave me the green light. Five years later we finally made it to the place and have been enjoying ever minute of it. The place is called Bahia de la luna (baheea deh lah loonah) and is most of a small rocky little bay. There are no other hotels or restaurants for miles in any direction so we are pretty secluded. The food here is amazing though so we don't need any other restaurant. So here's how it works: 8:30 -10:30ish is a continental breakfast buffet(mainly fresh fruit) and from then until 4:00 pm its order your own and then at 4:00 the day chef leaves and the magic begins. They give you a choice of two mains two appetizers and a desert or ice cream and no matter what you pick it will be delicious. The current night cook's name is Leila(not sure if its spelt right) and she is pretty awesome. She has made really good friends with my sister and behind me at another table they are making things out of fabric.
So yeah, I have spent the passed week at this amazing beach snorkeling and kayaking every free minute I have had. Today I'm leaving this little slice of paradise(not at all over stated) and hopping on a plane to Mexico city where we are meeting up with some friends and having dinner before hopping on a bus tomorrow to head back to where we live. San Miguel de Allende.
Oh and to all of you people who have left comments on my blog I will actually start responding to them if they are under a year old. Sorry 'bout the older ones but I was a lot younger and less responsible.
Best be off,
Loco Kiwi

Been a while...

Well okay, if anyone actually reads my blog anymore you should be excited to stop having to re-read my old posts. Hurrah! Just in case you are a new reader I am a 13 year old living in Mexico(yes I speak Spanish). A few other things I should probably mention include: I like to play video-games and I may post some things about gaming in the future(not sure about the nearness though) I also enjoy mountain biking, reading and many other things. Now that I'm done being boring here is the news! Well in the last two years I have gone to a new school gone up like 3 grades(somehow) and in all likelihood grown up a bit(I hope!).
What you people see on the news is in all probability true to an extent but if you are considering visiting, most of the country is a peaceful dusty place with no Drug-Lords roaming and none of their henchmen anywhere in sight. Its quite amazing how wrong people can be about a country and yet have so many people believe the same thing. Odd isn't it...
Tis' the season of halloween and tomorrow I'm going to a Halloween party!(8 days early but what the heck). And I because I am running out of things to say I might have to end this quite soon("Finally" you say) and if you have stuck with me thus far, Thank you! I might somehow upgrade my writing at some point and become interesting if you disagree leave me a comment and maybe a suggestion or two of things you would like to know about Mexico. I mean who doesn't want to know stuff about Mexico?*sarcasm* And seriously if you have actually stuck it out and read this far, thank you, seriously.
Guess I should leave you people to go read some other blogs or do something else.
Thanks again for reading.
Adios mis amigos chidisimos!
(Goodbye my very cool friends)

P.S
If this wasn't very interesting check back sometime, I mean I may have had an epiphany of epic blogging proportions.

From New Zealand, living in Mexico! & I'm 13.
